Hi, I am Aditi Ramprasad. I am currently pursuing MPS in Information Science at Cornell University. I completed my bachelors in Computer Science Engineering from SSN College of Engineering in Chennai, India.

During the pandemic, I decided to use my time productively by learning how to design web applications from the ground up, starting with basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript and working my way up to more complex full-stack website development using frameworks such as React.js and Node.js. My curiosity to understand how things work together led me to build real-world applications both as a hobby and for college projects.

I had quickly expanded my skill set after taking Google’s UX design course. I exposed myself to various tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Adobe Illustrator and started developing prototypes that would help me gain invaluable experience in the field of design.

Working on a real project gave me exposure to the tasks and challenges posed by it and helped me realize that designing accessible websites was my calling.

Apart from designing, I am a professional classical dancer in the field of Bharatanatyam. I have given many performances and have also received awards for the same. Dancing is a way I can destress myself and I could go on dancing for hours. If you don’t find me playing around with designs, I am probably dancing and finding peace somewhere :)
